History
Saiston Sheet Metal Ltd. was formed in 2009 by Terry Hope, who had previously been managing director of a successful manufacturing company between 1988 and 2009, and who had a successful engineering career before this. Our engineering excellence is at the core of our business, which is why members of our workforce have a high level of experience and skill in their specialist fields. This has contributed towards successful completion of many prestigious contracts, developing and manufacturing metalwork for a wide range of applications.
Premises
All our production facility is a purpose built 20,000 ft2 site, designed from the outset for an optimal layout. Our Fabrication area extends to 11,000 ft2 and we have 5,000 ft2 dedicated to our conveyorised Powder Coating Plant. The other 4000 ft2 is the assembly & packaging department. We take pride in keeping our premises clean, which in turn helps us to maintain our excellent paint finish.
IT Infrastructure
We operate an extensive computer network giving us the capability to work with CAD drawing via email, cutting lead times. Our offices feature a bespoke networked database with an integrated quoting facility. IT support helps to give us maximum uptime and the ability to continually develop our systems.
Staff
All our staff has history and experience within manufacturing and engineering. Their combined experience gives us a comprehensive knowledge across these fields, and in turn provides a professional service which is both quick and accurate.
The Environment
Saiston Sheet Metal Ltd. understands the impact that business can have on the environment, especially in the manufacturing industry. To this end, we endeavour to go above and beyond in being as environmentally friendly as we can be wherever possible, by undertaking careful material preparation, following guidelines and targets set for our industry, carefully disposing of any waste and whenever possible, recycling any waste products we produce or are left over from the manufacturing process.
